About the Summit

The Summit precedes the national award banquet of the 2017 edition of "Sustainability 4.0 Awards". Jointly instituted by TERI and Frost & Sullivan, the Sustainability 4.0 Awards framework is built around four major pillars viz. Purpose, Partnership, Planet and People.

The adoption of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), covering economic, social development, and environmental protection, provide an opportunity for engagement and a new type of partnership to address the global challenges. Businesses play a vital role by understanding the opportunities and challenges on one hand, and by mobilizing resources and offering know-how and solutions, on the other.
